Jamaica’s Ambassador to the United States, Professor
Gordon Shirley, at right, congratulates Mr. Anthony
Brown, Lieutenant Governor elect of the State of Maryland,
who paid a courtesy call on Ambassador on the morning
of December 22 at the Embassy in Washington DC. Mr.
Brown is a second generation Jamaican and will be
sworn into office on January 17, 2007.
