of Information and Development, Donald Buchanan, has
said that the country was 85 per cent ready for the
staging of the Cricket World Cup 2007. The benchmark
used to determine the level of preparedness is the
post venue agreement between the government and the
International Cricket Council (ICC).

Jamaica Local Organising Committee (LOC) is reporting
that it has reached full agreements with all the owners
of facilities to be used as practice venues during the
Cricket World Cup 2007 (CWC) 2007. The venues include
Chedwin Park in St. Catherine, Kensington Park in Kingston,
Kaiser Sports Club in St. Ann and Jarrett Park in St.
