Twenty-eight year old Jamaican, Muna Haven, will create
history when she appears on the popular NBC series
The Apprentice hosted by New York’s millionaire
Donald Trump. Haven will appear with 17 other professionals
when the show commences on January 7, 2007.
Haven,
who was born in Mandeville, Jamaica, is the daughter
of businessman, Trevor Haven. In an interview with
JIS, Haven said, “I should be [the] next apprentice
because my background in international trade and foreign
languages runs in tandem with [the] Trump organization's
increasingly global integration.” She said,
“I want to be on the Apprentice to challenge
myself in a way I haven’t before, I want to
push myself beyond my personal limit.”

Haven is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University
where she received a Bachelor of Arts in French and
a Bachelor of Science in Biology, while minoring in
International Studies. Haven focused on International
Trade Law at McGill University, Faculty of Law, earning
degrees in both Common and Civil Law. Haven has studied
in France, Spain and Belgium and speaks Spanish and
French fluently. She currently works for a New York
law firm where she practices family law.
The
next Apprentice will be employed to the Trump organization
and will receive a six figure salary. The season for
the Apprentice will begin on January 7, 2007 and airs
at 9:30 pm.
