United States President, George W. Bush, at right, poses for a photograph with Prime Minister, Portia Simpson-Miller at the United States State Department in Washington, DC the morning after he met with the fifteen heads of states from the Caribbean at special meeting. The Prime Minister was accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Senator Anthony Hilton and Jamaica’s Ambassador to the United States, Professor Gordon Shirley. The Caribbean heads are in Washington, attending the first Conference on the Caribbean which began on Monday, June 18th and ends on Thursday, June 21st.
