Prime Minister Simpson-Miller addressed the People to People Diaspora Forum  at the Organization of the American States (OAS) in Washington, DC. . The Diaspora Forum was one of the highlights of the conference on the Caribbean which was held in Washington, DC, from June 19th to 21st
Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, at center, shares a light moment with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Senator Anthony Hylton, at right, Congresswoman Yvette Clarke, at left and Jamaica’s Ambassador to the United States, Professor Gordon Shirley.  Minister Hylton was a part of the CARICOM foreign ministers delegation who met with the U.S. speaker of the House on Capitol Hill and discussed a number of issues relating to the Caribbean.  The CARICOM ministers were in Washington, DC attending the First Conference on the Caribbean which was held June 19th to 21st.
