RGD Reports Increase in Applications
in the Jamaican Diasporas |

The recently announced requirement by both the Jamaican and US Governments in the cases of individuals seeking to access immigration related services including citizenship, and Jamaicans seeking to renew their Jamaican Passports must present a birth certificate, has created a massive application intake by the Registrar General’s overseas outreach team now visiting the United States. This was disclosed by RGD’s CEO Dr. Patricia Holness while addressing the Jamaican community at a Town Hall meeting recently held in Atlanta, Georgia.
